RTB 2009 Match Report
On a cold, windy day over 170 hounds and their owners descended on West Wittering Beach to show the world just what wonderful pets retired greyhounds make.
First we got together for a Group Photo - unfortunately not all the dogs realised they were supposed to face the camera.
Then we went for a nice (windy) walk around East Head.
Followed by the Fancy Dress Competition, judged by our special guest, Bruce Fogle, who had a really tough job deciding which hounds deserved prizes for tolerating their owners bad dress sense.
1st prize went to Rex who came as
well.... a T-Rex of course!
2nd Prize went to our very own Pirate of East Head, Maggie
3rd Prize was won by Roberto the Convict - A miscarriage of justice of course!
And finally, a Team Quiz with picnics and BBQs to stimulate our brains and warm our hands! So who won the Quiz? The Beach Bums of course!
