All greyhounds were invited: homeless ex-racing kennel hounds, homed hounds, etc. Every greyhound could join ReachTheBeach (and any other sighthounds... whippets, lurchers, etc.).
Regular Hersham greyhound walkers (or owners of ex-Hersham greyhounds) who could take a Hersham homeless hound to ReachThe Beach, were asked to volunteer as dog walkers for the day.
Also, any owners of re-homed sighthounds who wanted to join the event with their hound(s) could register on this web site for the event. Then they got the monthly Newsletters, plus a copy of the detailed Joining Instructions. This registration also ensured that their hounds had a goodie bag waiting.
